The tree still needs development on one side of the tree and it will be allowed to grow where ever it wants on that side to develop more branches. Two bad it does not as you could put a mask on the tree and use it co-passenger in the toll lanes. This is a really large tree and will not fit in the car at all. I do not like the white pot at all and will be looking for something better. All in all I like where the tree is right now. I have not yet done anything with the new growth yet. The tree has responded well with wiring and is now actively growing. The tree has a lot of branches and was styled this year. I do change the tree around from to time. The tree is currently on the east side of the house and seems to love it there. I use Plantone organic fertilizer on the tree. I move it outside in the spring and bring back in the garage if a frost/snow is predicted. I keep the tree in the garage during the winter. This tree likes lots of water and nothing seems to bother it. Brussels lost a very good customer all because the shipping department was lazy. Needless to say I have not purchased another Brussel Bonsai tree and doubt I ever will again. That’s right folks they chopped the entire apex right off the tree!!!!! It has taken me years to grow a new apex and I am really not happy with what I currently have for an apex. Brussels shipping department chopped 25% of the top right of the tree just to get it into a box. The tree arrived and I opened the box up only to be deeply disappointed with Brussels. Shipping costs were very high a tree of the size which I was ok with. It cost a fair amount of money and so I went ahead got it. I bought the tree from Brussels and it was advertised on Ebay. I have one Metasequoia glyptostroboides – Dawn Redwood Bonsai tree and its a big one.
